Troops 57 and 4057 – where the family joins the Troop, not just the child! The continued success of our Troops depends upon active parent participation and involvement. If your child is in the Troop, an adult from your family is required to register as an adult with the BSA and hold a volunteer role either in the Scouting Program or on the Administrative side. If you have more than one child in the Troop we need the family to hold two volunteer roles. Below is a high level description of the volunteer roles available in our troops. No matter which team you join, there are always opportunities to support our Scouts at every meeting, outing, and Board of Review (BOR). The BOR for example is an excellent way to learn about requirements for advancement for your Scout and hear other Scouts talk about their experiences. If you have any questions or would like to find your volunteer place within our Troops, please contact volunteercoordinator@troop57.net
