Patrols 401, 402, and 403 went on their fall patrol outings on October 15 and 16. Patrol 401 went to Henry Coe State Park where they backpacked in and out, made bracelets, did advancement, and enjoyed a meal together.
On 10/16, Patrol 402 went to Manresa State beach and did some beach cleanup. Afterward, they went to Clearview Farms to pick their own apples. At the beach, they saw dolphins, seals, and pelicans. They enjoyed this outing because it was a great way to spend time in nature while eating yummy treats.
On October 15th, patrol 403 drove to Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park, ate lunch, and hiked for a couple of hours. They ended up getting a little lost and hiking for longer than they intended to but crossed the rivers many more times. During the hike, they saw banana slugs and crawfish. Afterward, their patrol drove back to the campsite, set up tents, made dinner and dessert, and settled in for the night. The next morning they had breakfast and drove home.
