At about 12:15PM, scouts began arriving at the Scout House. First, they learned about pocketknife safety and had some practice making fuzz sticks and taking care of their knives. Outing lead Averie Chiang then taught scouts safe usage of the saw and axe, and finished off the outing with building a fire. Finally, scouts left after a debrief and a reflection.
