If you’re having trouble coming up with a meal plan for your next car-camping outing, look no further than this delicious camping recipe for sweet potato chilI! Not only is this sweet-potato chili delicious, but it is plant-based and vegetarian-friendly, so perfect for catering to various dietary needs.
Tips
To make this camping recipe as easy as possible during the actual campout, prepare some things ahead! I like to pre-mix the spices including the chili powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper, and sometimes I add in garlic powder into the mix too instead of having to bring some cloves on the outing. Another option is to pre-chop all the veggies so that there’s even less prep-work involved on the campout! You can pre-chop the onion, carrots, celery, and sweet potato and bring them in a container.
