Hi Everyone, the patrol meeting reports for many previous meetings have been collected, but I haven’t posted them to the website before. So here are the reports for the 1/27 patrol meetings:
Patrol 1:
Today in our patrol meeting we introduced ourselves to the first year scouts. Then we went over first aid skills and assigned patrol roles. Gavin zhang quartermaster, bill cui scribe, Daniel Jiang second-year instructor. And we ended the meeting by playing scribble.
Attendance: Bill Cui, Robert Cui, Daniel Jiang, Luke ni, Avid Prakash, Beck Lyons, Gavin zhang Jack Shingal Mason lee.
Patrol 2:
We each introduced ourselves and told one fun fact about each other. Then, we played a Mandalorian themed escape room and a kahoot related to scout skills. Finally, we discussed scout rank advancement and ended the meeting.
Attendance: Kai Mirchandani, Trevor Milne, Aiden Son, Roger Lee, Justin Lee, Cedar Ledgerwood, Chase Wong, David Campbell, Eddie Ling, Nathan Lee, Ryan Lee, and Brady Blanding.
Patrol 3:
The meeting started at 7:00. Neel opened the meeting by explaining the agenda. Then he told Noah to do the Scout Oath, Bruno to do the Scout Law, and Kade to do the Outdoor Code. After, Neel introduced the new members of our patrol, Kyle and Jacob. Everyone else also introduced themselves by saying their name and their favorite movie. After that, Neel talked about available positions in the patrol, because we need a quartermaster and a first-year guide for the next semester. Then, Neel gave a first aid quiz about cuts, scrapes, animal bites, and choking. Next, we all reviewed first year requirements so that the new scouts could learn and get signed off. Once all of the important things were complete, we finished the time with shellshock.io.

Patrol 5:
In the meeting we introduced ourselves to the two new scouts, Billy Eberle and Willem Madwed. After introductions the two new scouts went to work in a Breakout room to get requirement(s) done. During that period the main group consisting of. Jack Madwed, Jack Jemison, Woody Wu, Eric Sun, Vince Wu, Ray Law, Allen Wu, Duncan Sego, and Callum Budas. After this we worked and play scribil and we ended the meeting at 8:08.

Icebreaker: People added annotations to a map to show where they have traveled.
POR: Edwin is now the Quartermaster, Tayton is now the Instructor, Nathan is now the Scribe
Merit Badges: interest for a patrol Eagle or NonEagle merit badge seems mixed.
Patrol Outing: Most younger Scouts want to do a Patrol outing.
