Lehi Archery Outing

Patrol 401’s outing was at Lehi Park on April 20. They were accompanied by Patrol 402 as well as Patrol 1 from Troop 57. When they arrived, the weather was scorching hot. The scouts all set up tents, then participated in a three-hour service project. The projects varied. Some groups shoveled mulch, and others fixed up the archery range.

Everyone ate a great lunch after all the hard work! After lunch, scouts went straight back to work after to blow up 120 balloons for archery. They shot for a few hours, and thought it was really fun. At the end, the adults even got to try.

After, they ate dinner. There was a combined T4057 and 57 campfire, led by patrol leaders Adela Sojan, Greyson Goodrich, and Lina Bahbah. Everyone had a fun time, and all the patrols came up with skits. (The adults judged them and patrol 401 won and got to make s’mores first). They also played merit badge charades, which was also really exciting. The winds at night were really strong, though, and many tents almost got knocked over completely.

Scouts woke up early the next morning to take down camp. After that, they had a quick breakfast and left Lehi at around 9:30 AM. Everyone had an amazing time and we definitely recommend others to go visit Lehi, too!
