On October 27th, 18 scouts and 7 adults from both 4057 and 57, experienced what it was like to fly at an indoor skydiving facility in Union City. First, they discussed topics such as speed and velocity and then split into two groups. The first group wore flight suits, helmets, and goggles and went into a wind tunnel while the other group calculated their terminal velocities. Then, they switched. When both groups were done, an instructor placed different objects in the wind tunnel to see how they would react. Overall, everyone had fun and got to feel the thrill of flight.
