For the meeting tonight we set up various stations including: bookmark making, bracelet making, door painting and s’mores. We also had hot apple cider and scouts could sign off on the camp stove requirement. Members of the scout trail were able to build a fire and sign off on the fire building requirement.
Calista talked about an opportunity to obtain a world conservation award. A quick internet search found the following information.
World Conservation Award—This distinctive panda patch, No. 00140, is earned by Scouts who complete either the Environmental Science or Sustainability merit badge; Citizenship in the World merit badge; and either the Soil and Water Conservation or Fish and Wildlife Management merit badge. The Scout must also participate in a conservation project as part of an approved Scouting program totaling at least three hours that addresses a conservation need common to more than one country. Scout applicants must complete the World Conservation Award application.
Ria talked about the joint meeting with Troop 57. We are planning to do some service hours during the joint meeting, details to be provided later.

Attendance and Patrol Meeting Minutes: Patrol leaders, please have your patrol scribes update the attendance record for the patrol meetings. We are still missing attendance records for some patrol meetings. Please also provide a brief description of your patrol meetings to me, Ria and the scoutmasters each week.
