On April 20th, Albert Yang hosted an opportunity to complete the first class requirements 4a and 4b. These requirements involve navigating an orienteering course longer than a mile. The outing took place at Bedwell Baypark, a good place for casual walks. The course was a little more than a mile. The process required using a map and a compass to find posts displaying the number corresponding to the map. On the way, we learned how to measure the height of a tree with only a stick. Overall, the outing was a good place to sign off a rare requirement.
