On February 18th, Troop Guide Gia Pendyala led a hike at Arastradero Preserve. There were 6 scouts in total, and they worked on Tenderfoot requirement 5c, which is to explain the rules of safe hiking, both on the highway and cross-country, during the day and at night, and First Class requirement 4, which is about navigation. The scouts were able to get all their requirements completed and enjoyed a nice hike in the beautiful weather. The highlight was a fox that was out in the open.
